Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Patient Triage & Assessment: Obtain initial medical histories, record vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Physician Assistance: Assist doctors during specialized consultations, physical exams, and diagnostic or minor surgical procedures.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, injections, and immunizations while maintaining strict documentation protocols.
- Patient Education: Instruct patients and their families on medication usage, self-care techniques, and ongoing treatment plans.
- Infection Control: Ensure sterilization of medical instruments, disposal of biomedical waste, and adherence to hospital safety standards.
- Communication & Triage: Manage patient inquiries, schedule follow-ups, and coordinate care plans.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Valid Nursing Council registration with a B.Sc. in Nursing or a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma.
- Experience: Typically requires 2–5 years of clinical or OPD nursing experience.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, multitasking, and the ability to operate medical software efficiently.
