Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting qualified vendors, and conducting supplier performance reviews to drive improvement.
  • Technical Evaluation: Reviewing technical specifications and drawings to ensure products meet project requirements.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiating contracts, contract terms, prices, and lead times with suppliers to minimize procurement costs.
Purchasing & Logistics: Issuing purchase orders (PO), managing procurement processes from Request for Quote (RFQ) to delivery, and tracking shipments.Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with design, production, and project management teams to align procurement with schedules.Document Control: Maintaining records of purchases, technical specifications, and contracts. 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil).
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of engineering materials, industry standards, and technical drawing interpretation.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze proposals and manage inventory levels.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and MS Office (specifically Excel).
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience: Previous experience in procurement, specifically within construction or engineering sectors.
