Job Description:
Responsibilities
Sourcing and Requisitions: Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), single-line diagrams (SLDs), and technical blueprints to identify project electrical requirements.
RFQs and Bids: Float Requests for Quotations (RFQs), evaluate technical and commercial proposals, and prepare detailed comparative statements.
Negotiation and Contracts: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and vendors. []
Order Execution: Issue Purchase Orders (POs), manage trade terms like letters of credit (LC), and track logistics until site delivery.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with project, design, quality assurance (QA/QC), and site execution teams to prevent project bottlenecks.
Vendor Management: Maintain approved vendor lists (AVL), evaluate supplier performance, and develop alternative local or international sources.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Experience: 2 to 8+ years of techno-commercial experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within construction, manufacturing, or EPC sectors.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of electrical drawings, IS/IEC standards, and major industry brands.
Software Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel for data analysis and bid tabulation.
