Responsibilities

Dispensing Medication: Interpret, verify, and fill prescription orders accurately while ensuring no adverse drug interactions.
Patient Counseling: Educate patients on medication usage, correct dosage, and potential side effects.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of essential medications, ensure proper storage, and minimize waste.
Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with regulatory authorities and strictly adhere to health authority (DHA/MOH/DOH) guidelines.
Team Leadership: Supervise pharmacy support staff, including pharmacy assistants and technicians.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Pharm), Master's degree (M.Pharm), or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution.
Licensing: Mandatory valid license or eligibility letter from the specific regulatory body:
- DHA: Dubai Health Authority
- DOH: Department of Health (Abu Dhabi)
- MOH: Ministry of Health (Northern Emirates)
Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of professional pharmacy experience in a retail or hospital setting post-internship.
Skills: Strong communication, customer-orientation, and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and pharmacy management systems.
