Responsibilities

Education & Counseling: Host one-on-one counseling or group seminars to explain nutritional principles and healthy food choices.
Progress Monitoring: Track client outcomes, modify meal plans as needed, and provide behavioral support.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
Industry Compliance: Stay updated on nutritional research while complying with food and health regulations.

Typical Requirements

Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, or a related field.
Certifications: Many roles require or prefer candidates to be Registered Dietitians (RD) or hold board-certified nutritionist credentials.
Skills: Strong empathy, exceptional communication and counseling skills, and the ability to simplify complex health concepts.
