Key Job Responsibilities

Direct Patient Care: Providing hands-on care, including bathing, feeding, and dressing, particularly for patients who may feel more comfortable with a male staff member.
Medical Procedures: Administering medications, managing intravenous lines, changing wound dressings, and assisting physicians during examinations.
Monitoring & Assessment: Regularly measuring vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate) and updating patient records.
Patient Education: Educating patients and their families on disease management and recovery strategies.
Emergency Response: Responding to emergencies, performing basic life support, and acting quickly to changing patient conditions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
Skills: Strong communication, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and handle the physical demands of patient care.
