Job Description:
Responsibilities
Inspections & Testing: Conduct routine site inspections for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems; verify material compliance and manage pressure or functional testing.
Quality Compliance: Implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Documentation: Manage Inspection Requests (IRs/WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and log Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve quality gaps and close out punch lists.
Handover Support: Assist in pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning, and final compilation of as-built records and O&M manuals.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 7+ years of dedicated QA/QC experience in MEP building or infrastructure projects.
Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with codes like ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, and local municipal bylaws.
Core Skills: Strong technical documentation, proactive problem-solving, and proficiency in MS Office.
