Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Islamic education standards and the broader school curriculum.
- Subject Instruction: Teach fundamental Islamic sciences, including Tajweed (Quranic recitation), Seerah, and Islamic history.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate and track student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Character Mentorship: Act as a role model by upholding Islamic principles, fostering mutual respect, and supporting the spiritual and moral growth of students.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment while adhering to school behavior and safeguarding policies.
- Collaboration & Extracurriculars: Participate in parent-teacher meetings, coordinate school events (like assemblies or religious observances), and work collaboratively with the wider school faculty.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Typically requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Islamic Studies, Arabic, or a related field (such as Education).
- Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of the Quran, Sunnah, and Islamic jurisprudence.
- Pedagogical Skills: Proven ability to manage a classroom, differentiate instruction, and utilize modern teaching technologies.
- Character & Communication: Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to guide students through diverse viewpoints and sensitive topics.
