Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Policy Development: Design, review, and update evidence-based Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) protocols in accordance with clinical standards and government guidelines.
- Surveillance & Reporting: Monitor infection rates, analyze laboratory data, and report infectious outbreaks or notifiable diseases to senior leadership and local public health authorities.
- Staff Training: Plan and execute orientation programs and ongoing educational workshops regarding PPE usage, hand hygiene, and safe medical practices.
- Audits & Compliance: Conduct routine rounds and facility audits to ensure proper sterilization of instruments (CSSD) and strict adherence to isolation and environmental cleaning procedures.
- Outbreak Management: Lead investigations when infection clusters occur, identifying root causes and implementing immediate corrective measures.
