Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Compliance & Monitoring: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE laws (e.g., OSHA), standards, and company policies.
  • Risk Management: Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to mitigate risks
    .
Inspections & Audits: Perform regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe working conditions.
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, or near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Training & Promotion: Develop and deliver HSE training programs to raise employee awareness and foster a strong safety culture.
Emergency Response: Develop and manage emergency preparedness plans, including organizing fire drills and evacuations.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent health and safety certifications.
  • Experience: Previous experience in industrial, construction, or oil & gas sectors is often required.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate safety protocols to staff, contractors, and managers.
