Job Description:

• Unit Management: Overseeing daily ICU operations, ensuring efficient patient flow, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
• Staff Leadership: Creating staff schedules, conducting performance evaluations, providing training/mentorship, and resolving staff conflicts.
• Clinical Leadership: Accompanying physicians on rounds, coordinating care, and ensuring high-acuity nursing protocols are followed.
• Resource Management: Managing equipment, inventory, and supply ordering to ensure the unit is fully operational.
• Quality Assurance: Monitoring patient records, ensuring adherence to infection control, and optimizing patient safety standards.
• Patient Advocacy: Resolving complaints and acting as a liaison between patients, families, and the medical team. 
   

• Education: Registered Nurse (RN) license; advanced degrees (BSN/MSN) are often preferred.
• Experience: At least 4 years of nursing experience, including 2+ years in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and often CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse).
• Skills: Strong leadership, critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and excellent communication skills.
