Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss reports.
  • Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger, recording debits, credits, accruals, and allocations.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Ensure strict compliance with financial policies and government tax regulations; prepare and file tax returns.
Budgeting & Analysis: Assist in drafting budget forecasts, monitor institutional spending, and identify trends to optimize cash flow. 
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Certifications: Professional credentials like CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA are highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Soft Skills: High numerical competency, analytical thinking, and a strong attention to detail to catch discrepancies.
