Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and accounts payable/receivable.
Journal Entries: Record transactions, adjustments, accruals, and allocations to the general ledger.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to standard accounting principles (like GAAP or IFRS) and local tax regulations.
Audit Support: Collect data and assist internal and external auditors during financial reviews.
Budgeting: Assist management in developing budgets, forecasting cash flows, and analyzing financial variances.

Key Skills Required

Analytical Thinking: Strong mathematical skills with an eye for detail and identifying discrepancies.
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Communication: Ability to clearly communicate financial data to non-finance stakeholders and executive leadership.
Time Management: Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet strict monthly and yearly closing deadlines.
