Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Accounting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and managing general ledger entries.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Developing financial plans, analyzing variances, and assisting with forecasting to meet company goals
.
Compliance & Tax: Ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, filing TDS, GST, or other tax returns, and managing audits.Cash Management: Managing accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, and cash flow analysis.Strategic Analysis: Reviewing financial trends to provide recommendations for cost reduction and profit maximization.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA, CPA, or CFA is often preferred.
- Experience: Usually requires 1–5 years of experience in accounting or finance for standard roles, or 10+ years for senior leadership.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and time management.
