Duties

Patient Experience: Welcome patients, handle check-ins and check-outs, and maintain a welcoming environment to ease any dental anxiety.
Scheduling: Manage the daily calendar, schedule appointments, handle cancellations, and send reminders via phone or email.
Billing & Insurance: Verify insurance coverage, process co-payments, submit claims, and discuss treatment costs with patients.
Record Management: Update and secure confidential patient medical histories and treatment records.
Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages to the appropriate dental staff.
Office Operations: Maintain front desk organization, order clinic supplies, and coordinate with dental labs.

Required Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in office administration is a plus.
Customer Service: Superior interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, positive demeanor.
Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix).
Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of dental and medical terminology, as well as billing/insurance codes.
Detail Orientation: High accuracy when managing schedules, patient charts, and financial data.
