Job Description:

Responsibilities
1. Obstetrics (Maternal & Fetal Care)
  • Provide comprehensive prenatal, natal, and postnatal care to pregnant women.
  • Manage high-risk pregnancies and complex labor and delivery processes (including C-sections).
  • Perform routine tests, ultrasounds, and screenings to monitor fetal development. 
2. Gynecology (Women's Reproductive Health)
  • Diagnose, monitor, and treat disorders of the female reproductive and urinary tracts.
  • Conduct annual wellness exams, pelvic and breast exams, and Pap smears.
  • Perform major and minimally invasive gynecological surgeries.
  • Provide family planning, contraception advice, and fertility management. 
3. Clinical Leadership & Governance
  • Act as the senior clinician on-call, leading multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) on the labor ward during emergencies.
  • Participate in clinical governance, risk management, and clinical audits to ensure patient safety standards are met.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior doctors and medical students. 
Key Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education & Licensing: Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) followed by postgraduate specialization (MD/MS, DNB, MRCOG, or equivalent) and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Clinical Skills: High-level surgical proficiency and acute obstetrical crisis management.
  • Communication: Exceptional bedside manner and ability to clearly explain diagnoses and treatment plans to patients.
