Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Patient Support & Guidance: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, helping them navigate hospital policies, medical procedures, and available services.
- Complaint Resolution: Actively listen to patient feedback, address grievances, and escalate complex issues to appropriate medical or administrative departments to ensure timely resolution.
- Relationship Building: Conduct regular rounds in departments like OPD, ER, or wards to check on patients, ensuring their comfort and high-quality care.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing departments, and administration to streamline the patient care journey.
- Feedback Collection: Gather valuable patient insights through surveys or follow-up calls and report data to management to drive quality improvement efforts.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, communications, public health, nursing, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 3+ years in a client-facing role, preferably within a hospital, clinic, health insurance firm, or healthcare BPO.
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence (empathy and patience), excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong conflict resolution abilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hospital management software (HMS), CRM platforms, and standard Microsoft Office or Google Workspace suites.
