Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices comply with local regulations and international standards (like GAAP or IFRS).
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and evaluate the accounting and bookkeeping staff.
Auditing: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Taxation & Budgeting: Manage corporate tax reporting and assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust financial controls to prevent errors and mitigate risk.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certification: Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are highly preferred.
Experience: Typically 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a management or supervisory role.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
