Job Description:

• System Architecture Design: Create comprehensive system layouts including precise audio, video, IT networking, lighting, and automation control paths. 
• CAD Documentation: Draft detailed 2D/3D system drawings, wiring schematics, rack elevations, floor layouts, and reflected ceiling plans (RCPs).
• Needs Analysis: Conduct site surveys and engineering evaluation workshops to decipher client technology requirements and physical architectural limits. 
• Bill of Materials (BOM): Generate exact equipment specs, cost estimations, and precise itemized component lists to support bidding and purchasing. 
• Cross-Discipline Coordination: Collaborate with external architects, structural general contractors, and internal electrical/IT teams to guarantee spatial, structural, and network alignment. 
• Vendor & OEM Liaison: Interact with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for solution verification, pricing tiers, and direct tech support updates. 
• Deployment Oversight: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist field programmers and deployment installation crews with technical issues. 

• CAD Design Software: Advanced proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Vectorworks, D-Tools, or Visio.
• Video Ecosystems: Mastery of HDBaseT, matrix switchers, and advanced AV-over-IP architectures (Dante AV, NDI, SDVoE, ST 2110).
• Audio Engineering: Sound understanding of digital signal processors (DSP), room acoustics, microphones, line arrays, and networked audio protocols (Dante, Q-SYS, AVB).
• Control Systems: Structural configuration and signal planning knowledge for central automated controllers from brands like Crestron, Extron, AMX, or Q-SYS.
• Unified Communications: Engineering knowledge of enterprise collaboration systems such as Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), and Cisco Webex hardware.
