Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective daily lessons tailored to varying proficiency levels (both native speakers and foreign language learners).
- Skill Development: Teach the Arabic alphabet, phonetics, grammar (verbs, pronouns), vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions across listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Student Assessment: Design exams, analyze individual student progress, track grades, and provide constructive feedback.
- Cultural Integration: Model and encourage cultural awareness and understanding alongside the language.
- Classroom Management: Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student self-discipline and positive behavior.
- Collaboration & Extracurriculars: Participate in school events, collaborate with colleagues, and attend staff meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arabic Language, Literature, Education, or a closely related field.
- Certification: Teacher qualifying certification or a TESOL/CELTA equivalent if teaching Arabic as a foreign language.
- Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in Arabic and a strong working knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Experience: Previous teaching or tutoring experience, ideally with specific age groups (e.g., Primary, Middle, or High School).
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to use educational technology and online teaching platforms.
