Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other
duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.
• Assist with the distribution of food by loading and unloading vehicles and accompanying
other employees on deliveries.
• Transport materials and items from receiving area to storage or to other designated areas
using a forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Maintain warehouse; ensure safe and sanitary storage of food.
• Make pallets of food ready for delivery.
• Document receipt of donations and all recovered food.
• Deliver and pick up food utilizing safe food handling.
• Provide support to foods division by responding to general inquiries, compiling reports,
answering phones, copying, other duties as needed.
• Ensure that all food is suitable for distribution by sorting to remove spoiled and other
unusable items.
• Participate in meetings as directed by supervisor.
• Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all partners in the division.
