Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • On-Site Supervision: Oversee all daily construction activities, coordinating tasks among various subcontractors and field workers. 
  • Schedule & Planning: Collaborate with the Project Manager to execute the master schedule and implement short-term, 6-week look-ahead plans to prevent delays.
  • Safety Enforcement: Maintain a remarkably safe, clean, and orderly job site, ensuring all workers comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and company protocols. 
  • Material Procurement & Tracking: Manage on-site materials, track supply chains, ensure proper equipment is available, and verify that materials are installed correctly. 
  • Quality Control: Inspect ongoing work to guarantee it meets contract requirements, plans, and technical specifications, managing punch lists and calling for official inspections. 
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate daily logs, as-builts, and communicate project progress to project managers and stakeholders. 
Key Skills & Requirements
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional conflict resolution and ability to motivate teams while fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. 
  • Construction Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction practices, equipment capabilities, and interpreting architectural/engineering designs.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate future needs, identify roadblocks, and safely resolve on-site emergencies.
