Job Description:

Responsibilities
Patrol and Monitor: Walk or drive through interior and exterior areas regularly to deter illegal activity, spot safety hazards, and check entry points like doors and gates. 
Control Access: Verify identification, manage visitor logs, and issue passes to ensure only authorized people enter the facility. 
Surveillance: Watch security cameras and alarm system panels to detect unusual behavior, disruptions, or forced entry. 
Emergency Response: Act quickly during fires, medical situations, or security breaches, providing basic first aid or CPR and coordinating with police or fire departments. 
Reporting: Document daily activities, visitor interactions, property damage, and safety violations in written logs or shift reports. 
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensing: Valid state or local security guard license (armed or unarmed depending on the post).
Certifications: Preferred CPR and First Aid certifications.
Skills: Strong observation skills, clear verbal communication, physical fitness to stand or walk for long shifts, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
