Job Description:

• Infrastructure Security: Design, configure, and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs to secure network traffic.
• Monitoring & Threat Detection: Use tools like Wireshark, Nessus, and Splunk to monitor network traffic for anomalies and intrusions.
• Incident Response: Investigate security breaches, analyze incidents, and implement immediate remedial actions.
• Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify weaknesses.
• Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).
• System Upgrades: Plan and execute upgrades to security systems to enhance network resilience. 
   

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), network infrastructure, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Security Tools: Hands-on experience with security appliances, such as Cisco firewalls and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Certifications: Often requires certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CCSP.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
