Job Description:

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supply Chain Operations: Coordinate and oversee the full lifecycle of shipments, from procurement to delivery.
  • Inventory & Warehousing: Manage inventory levels, ensure accurate stock records, and oversee warehouse storage for efficiency.
  • Vendor Management:
     Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to manage costs and service levels.
Data Management & Reporting: Utilize Logistics IT systems to monitor procedures, track metrics, and prepare, reports on performance and budget.
Documentation: Prepare necessary shipping, financial, and inventory documentation.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, safety procedures, and organizational policies.
Procurement Support: Handle petty cash, local purchases, and vendor proposals.
 
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehouse management, or transportation is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics software.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers, staff, and partners.
