Job Description:

• Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network/system issues from L1, ensuring service restoration within SLA timelines.
• Monitoring Management: Configure, maintain, and optimize NMS/uNMS performance metrics, alarm rules, and dashboard configurations.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Perform deep-dive analysis, log reviews, and packet analysis (e.g., Wireshark) to identify fundamental causes of failures.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance, capacity, and traffic patterns (e.g., NetFlow) to ensure system availability.
• Automation & Upgrades: Develop custom monitoring scripts, perform software/patch upgrades, and support change validation.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with L3 teams, vendors, and field engineers for resolution and provide technical guidance to L1. 
   

• Experience: Generally 3–6 years in IT/Network Operations Centers (NOC).
• Tools: Expertise in monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or Splunk.
• Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and network security protocols.
• Platforms: Experience with Cisco networking, firewall management, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to work in rotational shifts.
