Responsibilities

Design & Drafting: Create 2D and 3D CAD models, schematics, and detailed work from rough sketches and client notes.
Calculations: Compute necessary dimensions, weight limitations, material quantities, and production costs.
Collaboration: Partner with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand requirements and refine designs.
Compliance: Ensure all final designs meet local building regulations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation: Maintain organized files, update drawings based on feedback, and prepare technical reports and manuals.
Field Verification: Occasionally conduct site visits to verify dimensions and gather data for existing structures.

Education: A diploma or college/university degree in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline.
Software Skills: High proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360°.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for pinpointing design and operational issues.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to clearly explain blueprints to construction or fabrication crews.
